Facilitating a turnaround in individuals and in communities
Sonnyview ATA, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that was founded in 2022 with the mission of changing the lives of previously incarcerated males on the Lower Eastern Shore of Maryland. People are given a second chance through supportive transitional services including rehabilitation, job placement, and housing assistance to help reduce recidivism.
We are passionate about positively impacting the lives of those that have been affected by their choices and their involvement in the criminal justice system. Our services are designed to promote self-sustainability, self-sufficiency, and personal growth. Our goal is to help those in our service area of Wicomico, Worcester, and Somerset counties to successfully transition back into society and reach their full potential.
Our Mission
Sonnyview ATA provokes a decline in male reincarceration; furnishing resources and referral assistance for housing, employment, rehabilitative services, and much needed supportive transitional services to the previously incarcerated and those soon to re-enter society; facilitating a turnaround in individuals and in communities.
Our Vision
Sonnyview ATA will be a turnaround for previously incarcerated males; fostering an abiding lifestyle of stability void of unlawful offenses and crime; producing indestructible males and indestructible communities.
